love?

So now I know what it feels like to love someone. And now I also know what it feels like to have your heart ripped out of your chest by that person. It doesn't feel good, and it's not fair, but it's life. I learned my lesson not to give my whole heart to someone over 6 months, and man, I still have more to learn I believe. I can't accept that I have yet more heartbreak to endure before I find that one guy that I can truly fall in love with. I have a long road ahead of me. And along the way I have the friends and family that I love to help me when I need them.

updates I guess...

Seeing as how I haven't posted in a while, I guess I really should update...
Obviously, my birthday was last month. I'm fifteen now and I am so excited. I am so close to achieving freedom! I just know that when I get my real license I won't be around the house much at all. I'm pretty sure that if I'm having a bad day I'll take someones car and just drive....(who knows to where) But, until then, I'm going to live it up to the fullest as a fifteen year old. The day I hit 16 mom is going to be crying all day long. I can feel it in my bones.

As of today, I only have 29 days left of my freshman year at Murphy. As happy as I am that it is almost over...at the same time, I'm sad to see it go. So much has happened in 2008-09, it's almost impossible to grasp it all. Let's see if I can even begin to cover it all.

• I successfully completed both types of Guard, Field season and Winter Guard
• I went through my longest relationship to date, 4 months 3 weeks
• I almost fell in love..(didn't work out the way I planned)
• I just barely made a B in Geometry
• Other than that one, I got all A's
• By the end of this school year I'll have 10 credits
• I believe that I learned my calling in this world, Science.
• My highest grade was an overall 99 in biology.
• I went through more relationships than any one of my friends.
• I found out that it is true what they say about high school, It's the best years of your life, and You learn who your true friends are.

I just can't wait til next year, when my 2 best friends from Phillips (Sam and Genevieve) are at Murphy with me.

On another note, spring break this year was awesome. To most people, my break might have been boring, but I loved it. Pretty much everyday was spent at the mall. However, Sunday was spent with Clint's family for an Easter party sort of thing. His family is so amazing. They all have such great senses of humor. We spent about 4 hours there, and they just flew by. Monday, I went to the mall with my dear friend Jamie, and while we were there, we ran into my friends Alex and Alonzo who were with some of their friends. Now it was a party! Tuesday, I went to the mall with just Alex. We made each other try on random and some ugly clothes. Tons of fun, seeing as how we are easily amused. For some reason I can't remember Wednesday, strange. Friday, I went to the mall once again with my awesome friend, Mimi. All week I have been reading the book, "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer. So far it's really great, but you have to read it slowly to understand everything that is going on. It can get a bit complicated.

One more thing. The week of May 20th or so is now my new goal to get to. During that week pretty much all of my dearest family will be here in Mobile. I am so excited to see my not-so-little nephew and my favorite sister ever!!! I can't wait to see Tracy's new baby along with the other three. I still laugh whenever I think of Tracy singing during guitar hero. I guess that's about all for now. I love you all!

The first half actually wasn't that hard...the thing wants to count 1-25 again, and I dont feel like putting up with numbering, so it's just going to be 1-25 again.. :D get over it

Semester, holidays, and more...

Well, first semester is finally over! Good-bye geometry!!! YAY!!! I can't wait for nest semester, I have all easy classes. The only really tough class I'll have is English, which really isn't that bad. I have Biology, BTE, Engilsh, then Band. If you want to know I'm pretty certain I passes all my 1st semester classes.(even band teehee :P)

Winter guard season has officially started! This weekend was staging weekend. Friday through Sunday all day we blocked our drill for the show, which is only about 3 and a half minutes. Let's see, Friday was class time to 5, dinner, then 6-10; Saturday was 9-6; and Sunday was 1-7. It took all....about 21 hours to block our show with minimum choreography!!! I am in so much pain, and have so many bruises, it' not even remotley funny. It hurts to even walk! I really need to soak in a HOT bath tomorrow!

Now that the harsh and cruel weekend is over, my Chistmas break has finally begun! Woop woop! I'm sadened by the fact that Beth can't come down, but I'm sure we will see her soon enough. We still have other family coming from different places at different times, which is so very exciting! I haven't actually made a Christmas list yet. It seems this year that I don't really want a lot of things like I used to. I guess it's all part of growing up.

One more thing, since I haven't written in a while I guess I'll tell that me and Chris broke up. If you haven't heard it from someone yet, you can hear it now. Even though this happened about 3 weeks ago. It's perfectly fine though, it wasn't all that bad. I currently have another boyfriend named Madison, and I get a lot of grief from my friends because he has a girls name, but I don't care. :) I'll keep you updated on him as much as possible! I'll write again soo, I hope, see some of you soon! Bye!

Some Updates

I haven't posted for some time. There hasn't been much going on, but I guess I can fill in a few things.

School is going great. I've been really bust trying to figure out whats going on in math. The past day I borrowed this great book called Twilight. It's the first in an enitre saga. It was THE GREATEST book I have ever read. I can't wait to get rhe second one. This book is 498 pages and it took me 1 day and 17hours to read! I couldn't put it down! It was amazing. I actually stayed up til 2:45 this morning reading. I highly recomend it to anyone!!! Even adults! It's great! You just need a sense of imagination and adventure! We have already planned a trip to the movies to see it when it comes out. Nov. 21.

A few days from now will be my 3 month anniversary. That will be the longest ever. Hehe. I know it's not that big. But it is for me.

Big news for all you high school football fans out there. The Panthers are 6-0 right now! We are having a great season so far! The halftime shows are going well also. We just finished the last 64 counts of workt his Tuesday! I was hecktic!!! I so tired!!!! That's pretty much it for now. I'll write again soon, hopefully. Maybe something exciting will happen!

First day!

I have great news!! I am officially a Panther!!! Today, as it says, was my first day. All actually went pretty darn well. I am so proud of myself. I only got lost once on the way to lunch with a group of friends. My schedule is still messed up, but everyone I asked said they should be fixed my tomorrow or Wednesday. I am anxious to see what they have to change. I know for sure they have to turn 2nd block P.E. into something else, and 4th block Beg. Chorus, has to be Band. I am thinking they could put in whatever chorus class there is in 2nd block. I don't really have to be in beginner. I have been singing all my life pretty much. In every class I know at least two people from Phillips, so that was great! My math class was especially neat. I am taking Geometry, which at Murphy is a 10th grade class. So I walk in with my friend Alexis, whom I found in the hall, and we sit down. We notice that everyone around us is 10th grade, and there was only 2 of us so far. Over all, there are only 4(including me) 9th graders in my math class. It is just so funny. That's pretty much it for today. I'll have to write later and tell you about my entire week. Fun Times, Busy Times and So Much More...

Well hi there!! I thought I would give some quick updates!! Go me!

Well, this weekend is certainly a busy one. I am awfuly tired too. I had band camp all this week. Yesterday, Mom and I went to Zoghby's to get my uniform. That was tons of fun, not. We had such a nice lady. We are very picky when it comes to things like uniforms. We had to send out one skirt to be hemmed, and ordered two other skirts that were not in stock. So we had to buy a pair of pants incase the skirts don't get back before school starts. I sure hope they do. Those pants are HIDEOUS! They just look terrible on me! Along with that, we got two oxford button down shirts. On the other hand, this weekend I have to clean the house. I am having my second annual End of Summer blow out this Monday and Tuesday. It's going to be full of craziness and hyper activity. I invited 13 girls, including me makes 14. But, i'm pretty sure not all 13 will be able to come.

I had registration this Wednesday. All went pretty well, until i got my schedule. They put me in P.E. instead of band. UGH! They do it every year! (So Mr. Chapman says.) So now mine, along with many others', schedule has to be changed! Most likely I won't get the new one until the first day of school! Hopefully I can get it before then, so I'm not wandering around campuss, confused!!

Now, I'm sure all of you would like an update on the boyfriend situation. I don't remember if I told in the last post that he was out of Al, visiting his dad. But, he is. He is coming back very soon though, August 7th, to be exact. I am so excited, but I am afraid that we will not be able to do anything, because I am broke. It's also inconvienent because that is 5 days before the 12th, which would be one month of us going out. (I'm not one to say anniversary, I don't know why) I start school on the 11th and he starts school on the 12th. Maybe we could do something on the weekend. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I really have to get to cleaning. I'll write after the party and tell you all about it. Bye!

As was Looking, I came upon one that was the best one I have ever read. I just wanted to share it!

Houston Mission Trip

I went to Houston, TX for a youth mission trip. We went to many sites to help as best we could in 4 days! We got bunches done! And I mean A LOT!!! The 1st site I went to was an all men’s Salvation Army place. My group actually finished all the work we needed to do in 2 days! We were known as Team Totally Awesome. Fitting, huh? Anyhoo, after 2 days everyone switched groups and the next group who went to the men’s Salvation Army had to actually be movedto another Salvation Army! hehe!
The 2nd site I went to work at was the Boys and Girls Club. It was like a church place and they were in a kind of Vacation Bible School thing. They were so cute and fun! I had to help w/ 7 and 8 year olds. I had about 6 little girls pulling at my hair tryin to braid it and stuff. They were too cute.
After those 4 days we had a “fun day.” We went to Schlitterbahn water park on Friday. Which was so much fun, but what wasn’t fun is that mother nature grabbed hold of me on Thursday (I know it was probably tmi!!!) UGH! But it was ok, my friends were understanding. We had to stay in groups of 3 and my group was so great about it. Anyhoo, so on to the next, very exciting subject.
So, that Saturday, we were on our way back to our very much loved home state and we stopped for lunch. After my friend(Genevieve) and I were done eating we went outside to sit with our other friends. (Let me get off subject a little bit here.) I have known this boy(Chris) for some time, since like 1st grade. And this week he came on the trip, and we got so much closer and more like BFF’s. Well, like I said, we were sitting outside and he was out there, too. Suddenly, my other friend(Kayli) says to him, “Can I tell her?” At this point I just want to know so when I hear him say sure, I immediately lean over to listen to my friend. She whispers in my ear, "Chris likes you." I had already told her that week that i liked him…and when I heard this, I was jumping for joy on the inside. But I had to stay calm, I didn't want the whole youth group to know. After lunch, it got kind of awkward and quiet on the bus. I couldn't think of anything to say or do. Thankfully, Chris out of the blue says, "Want to play hangman?" (We had been playing hangman before we stopped for lunch) Of course I said yes, there was nothing better to do and I had hatched a plan to see if he really liked me, and to get on the subject of maybe going out. It was my turn to make the puzzle, and the answer was, "You are cool." Simple? Don't you think? Once he solved it he wrote a note back that said, "Ditto." It was my turn again to make the puzzle, and the was actually a question. "Kayli said you like me" The category was True or False. When he solved it he circled true. Then I decided to take my plan into action. I wrote a note that said, " I have a prank to play on Kayli." The plan was to tell her that Chris asked me out just to make her shut-up. While we were writing the note he asked me out for real! And I said yes. (I know that was A LOT of details for that one thing, but, whatever)
So, over all the trip started and ended wonderfully! I can't wait to see Chris again. Right now he is out of Alabama visiting his dad. (until Aug. 7) So, I have a while before I will see him again, but I can wait. That's all for now. More about other stuff another day.

Last day

Well, today was the official last day of school! It was only a half day but it seemed to go by so slow. Only because I didn't want it to end. The chorus put on a sort of ceremony you could say for the eight grade class. We sang a bunch of songs to say goodbye and by the last song all but a few girls were balling tears! Even me! My friend Sophia made me cry so much that I ran out of tears! Hugs and "I loves you"s were going every which way! The point I really started crying at was when we had just finished "Breaking Free" when my BFF Ann burst out, "Heather don't make me cry!" Of course she was already balling by the middle of that particular song. I almost burst out then and there, but I had to maintain composer. After that song we went on to sing "Hard to Say Goodbye" from Dreamgirls. That is when the cry fest started. Near the last verse the 8th grade class went out to the audience and the 7th grade chorus members stayed on the risers. We surrounded all of our friends and cried as we tried our hardest to finish the song. When it was over the commotion started! Only 2 boys cried, one seventh grader, Trevon, and Trevor. He said people crying makes him cry, but he was really sad! He knows it, everyone who knows him knows it. Trevor is a boy who shows his emotions! That's why I love him so much. (as a friend) The goodbyes were hard and even saying bye to the people I will see next year was hard! I know I will see all of my closest friends during the summer. Especially at my Back To School Party. I'm tearing up right now, so i best stop for now.

wow

Wow, I realized that I have not written it quite a while! I guess that is because nothing has been going on. I was sick Sunday through Tuesday! It was terrible!! I had the worse feeling in the world!! In my family, at least Beth and I, we have strong stomachs and hardly ever throw up; this illness, whatever it was, actually made me vomit! That is how bad I felt!! Luckily, nothing much happened at school those two days because most of the kids were still in Europe from the Spring Break trip. Thursday was the huge eighth grade Shakespeare trip that they have every year! This year we saw The Count of Monte Cristo. It was so great, I was on the edge of my seat! I loved it. In seventh and eighth grade at Phillips, the students read Shakespeare; this year we are reading The Tempest! So far it is really good. We are almost done with Act 1. So, going on to a new subject, the purity ring! I got one and wear it every day! Beth gave me a beautiful ring she got a few years back! I love it so much! So much is coming up in May! I am so excited for Tracy's side of the family to come! I hope you all have a safe trip!Then, Sharon's shower will be great fun! My school is also doing some work to reach out to the Child Advocacy Center, which is a center for abused children. The same day as Sharon's shower from 10-4 we can go down to a Food World in Saraland and bag groceries for tips! All the tips will go to that center in honor of those children and in memory of the people of the Holocaust. Then, graduation/Honors day id May 8 I believe, and May 9 is the eighth grade spring social. Now, the chorus is preparing once more for one last performance! The last day of school is the eighth grade ceremony sort of event. We are singing tons of great and heart warming songs plus one up beat song called We're All In This Together from a movie that everyone likes but me! I don't like the song or the movie!! But I will make it look like I am having fun with it! Hey, that's life, you always have to do things you don't want to do. School is ending fast, my friend told me Friday that there were only 19 days left! We are all get rambunctious, soon we will go our separate ways and be in High School. We are going from the top dogs to Freshmeat, sorry, Freshmen. Oh and Winter Gaurd try outs are soon! Beth and I have got to get to practicing! I need to get this stuff down packed! Well, that sums it all up! I need to hang on, it's almost over!

Great weekend.

So, not much has been going on lately. This weekend has been OK though, and Friday was AWESOME!! Friday at school was the talent show in the morning! My friend Rockii, as we call her won!! She sang a wonderful song! I can't remember what it was though. Oh did I mention we got to be out of uniform. We got to wear our spring fling shirts and jeans! So obviously, that tells you Friday was also our Spring Fling! It was so much fun! they had a little dance in the cafeteria, and my friends and I went in TWICE!! My legs still hurt! I danced with my friend, Kimphung, and we all found our guy friend, Michael, and made him come in the dance with us! He had a great time and so did we! He was saying he could not dance, but eventually he picked up some of the dance moves! He is so good! I can't wait to see him at the Social! Victoria and I said he had to dance with us at the social! All he could say was OK, because we were so tired from dancing! Oh, back to the weekend! I am so excited because the Lord of the Rings triology has been on! Today they are showing all three back to back! The secong one is on right now! It is my fave! So I had better stop rambling and get back to it! BYE!

Wow, a lot going on right now! Well, SAT;s start soon along with the ARMT. and almost everyday this week I have 1 hour to 2 hours of practice for my upcoming Spring Show for chorus! It is a hassle! Spring Fling is VERY soon. That will be a fun day! Two weeks ago the 8th graders got our t-shirts! they are so cool.(I will have to post a picture later) Spring break is coming slowly. Oh, and I was surfing the net today and I ran across a site about purity rings. I had heard of them but never really understood about them. As I was reading I became very interested in the concept! So I have made a decision to get one! I am going to tell Mom in the car tomorrow when she picks me up from school. I just know she will be thrilled. I am really excited. I have seen so many expensive ones, but I do not need an expensive gold one with diamonds, just simple sterling silver. I don't need much to show a promise to God and myself. Grandma suggested that i write a little something about my dad. So, while I think of something to write, I thought you all might enjoy a poem I wrote for him. A few weeks ago, my language class started the poetry unit. This is one of the poems I have written.

mini date

Hi, well, I have not written in a while. So i thought I would update you on my relationship! Friday was one week, hurray! Today(Saturday) was our first mini date. We went to see The Eye w/ a few of our friends! It was really cool, because we were both scared that we burried our heads in eachothers shoulders! It was fun!! then after the movie was over we stayed at the theater for like another 2 hours. We played games and Trevor won me a cute little dragon. Of course Kelton and him fought over it for some reason and she ended up ripping the foot off. That's ok, I sewed it back on. I challenged Trefor to a motorcycle match. I was in first, but he came out of nowhere and crashed me, I came in second. Oh well! It was tons of fun!

So, I called Trevor and we started talking about what happened at lunch today. I mentioned him asking me out and he said it! He said, "Do you want to?" I thought, to build up tension, then replied with a yes!!! So now we are going out!

I could just kick myself!

Yesterday, in chorus, i was going to try out for a solo for our upcoming Spring Show. Well when I started singing, i sang about half of the line and gave up because I thought I sounded terrible! I was so mad at myself for giving up, and as it turned out, i sounded really good! My friend did not tell me this until that afternoon or else I would have gone back up there. So when I got to lunch, I was really mad and upset. While I was walking to lunch, my dear friend Marie was trying to tell me not to be mad because something great was supposed to happen in the lunch line. She didn't do a very good job of telling me not to be mad or try to act happy and she had promised not to tell me what was to happen so I had no idea. Well Trevor got in line behind me and he knew something was wrong but I did not talk to him, so he dropped it. Today Marie and I were talking, and she told me what was supposed to happen. Trevor was going to ask me out that day!!!! Since i was mad, he didn't risk making me even more upset, but that would have made me so happy! I would have forgotten about my solo gone bad!!! So now I have to wait even longer for him to ask me out!!! I could have kicked myself when she told me today!!!So I'm going to call him later today, maybe when i finish typing this, and talk to him.
